Its platform sole, practical ankle strap, and wide, comfortable fit make it a Mexican huarache that is elegant, versatile, and decidedly comfortable. A 100% handmade huarache from Mexico
Each pair of Carmen is crafted in our workshops in Michoacán by artisans who perpetuate ancestral know-how. The leather weaving is done entirely by hand, with meticulous care. An ethical approach based on fair trade.
Materials & comfort
- Upper: 100% woven cowhide leather, vegetable-tanned, with ankle strap
- Lining: 100% cowhide leather, vegetable-tanned
- Insole: 100% cowhide leather, vegetable-tanned, embossed with the Mapache logo
- Outsole: natural crepe platform, for a few centimeters of height while maintaining comfort
Choosing your size
Please note: the fit of the Carmen is wider than other Mapache models. Our recommendations:
- Slim foot: take one size smaller (otherwise your foot may not be sufficiently supported)
- Normal foot: take your usual size
- Wide or thick foot: take your usual size or one size up; you will be supported by the ankle strap
Available from size 35 to 42.
