A huarache 100% handmade in Mexico
Each pair of Carmen is crafted in our Michoacán workshops by artisans who perpetuate ancestral know-how. The leather weaving is done entirely by hand, with meticulous care. An ethical approach based on fair trade.
Materials & comfort
- Upper: 100% woven cowhide leather, vegetable-tanned, with ankle strap
- Lining: 100% cowhide leather, vegetable-tanned
- Insole: 100% cowhide leather, vegetable-tanned, stamped with the Mapache logo
- Outsole: natural crepe platform, for a few centimeters of height in total comfort
Choosing your size
Please note: the fit of the Carmen is wider than other Mapache models. Our recommendations:
- Slim foot: take one size smaller (otherwise your foot may not be held securely enough)
- Normal foot: take your usual size
- Wide or thick foot: take your usual size or one size up; you will be held in place by the ankle strap
Available from size 35 to 42.
