A huarache 100% handmade in Mexico
Each pair of Alegre is crafted in our workshops in Michoacán, in the heart of Mexico, by artisans who perpetuate an ancestral know-how passed down from generation to generation. The leather weaving is done entirely by hand, directly onto the upper — a traditional technique that requires nearly 16 hours of work per pair. Each huarache is thus unique, a signature of ethical and authentic craftsmanship.

Choosing your size
Woven leather stretches slightly with wear to mold to the shape of your foot. Our recommendations based on your foot type:
- Slim foot: take one size smaller than your usual size for better support
- Normal foot: take your usual size
- Wide or thick foot: take one size larger for more comfort
