A 100% handmade huarache in Mexico
Each pair of Alegre is crafted in our workshops in Michoacán, in the heart of Mexico, by artisans who perpetuate ancestral know-how. The leather weaving is done entirely by hand, directly on the upper — a traditional technique that requires nearly 16 hours of work per pair. Each huarache is thus unique, a hallmark of ethical and authentic craftsmanship.

Choosing your size
Woven leather stretches slightly with use to mold to the shape of your foot. Our recommendations:
- Slim foot: take one size smaller than your usual size
- Normal foot: take your usual size
- Wide or thick foot: take one size larger

To preserve the shine of the metallic leather, we recommend using our dedicated care products: clean with ECO CLEAN foam, nourish with FAMA ECO cream, and protect with ECO PROTECT waterproofing spray. Avoid prolonged exposure to water and direct heat to preserve the bronze luster.
