Presented in its natural camel colorway, the Isidora Camel is our most versatile closed-toe platform huarache. Its camel-dyed braided leather, sophisticated closed design, and platform sole make it a Mexican huarache that is warm, timeless, and comfortable all at once. A huarache 100% handmade in Mexico
Each pair of Isidora is crafted in our Michoacán workshops by artisans who carry on an ancestral know-how. The braiding of the camel leather is done entirely by hand. An ethical approach based on fair trade.
Materials & comfort
- Upper: 100% cowhide leather, vegetable-tanned, closed-toe model
- Lining: 100% cowhide leather, vegetable-tanned
- Insole: 100% cowhide leather, vegetable-tanned, stamped with the Mapache logo
- Outsole: natural crepe platform, for a supple and cushioned stride with a few centimeters of height
Choosing your size
Braided leather stretches slightly with wear. Our recommendations:
- Narrow feet: take one size smaller than your usual size
- Normal to wide feet: take your usual size.

Care
To preserve the leather's natural shade, we recommend using our dedicated care products: clean with ECO CLEAN foam, nourish with FAMA ECO leather cream, and protect with ECO PROTECT waterproofing spray.
