Discover the Alegre Suede Camel, the suede leather version of our iconic Alegre sandal. Its soft, luminous camel suede leather, caressing texture, and matte finish make it a Mexican huarache that is both sophisticated and radiant. A 100% handmade huarache from Mexico
Each pair of Alegre Suede is crafted in our workshops in Michoacán, in the heart of Mexico, by artisans who carry on ancestral know-how. The suede leather braiding is done entirely by hand, directly on the upper — a traditional technique that requires nearly 16 hours of work per pair. Each suede huarache is unique, the signature of ethical and authentic craftsmanship.

- Lining: 100% cowhide leather, vegetable tanned
- Insole: 100% cowhide leather, vegetable tanned, stamped with the Mapache logo

Choosing your size
Braided suede leather stretches slightly with wear to conform to the shape of your foot. Our recommendations:
- Narrow feet: take one size smaller than your usual size
- Normal feet: take your usual size
- Wide or strong feet: take one size larger

Suede care instructions
Suede leather requires appropriate care: use the FAMACO suede brush to raise the nap and clean gently, the special suede eraser for stains, the Raviv'daim (suede reviver) to brighten the color, and the ECO PROTECT waterproofing spray for protection. Avoid prolonged exposure to water and direct heat.
