A 100% handmade, eco-friendly sandal from Mexico
Every pair of Frida sandals is crafted in our workshops in Michoacán, in the heart of Mexico, by artisans who perpetuate ancestral craftsmanship. The leather weaving is done entirely by hand. The Frida's special feature: its sole made from recycled tires, an eco-friendly and robust approach. A fusion of traditional craftsmanship and sustainable modernity.

- Insole: 100% vegetable-tanned bovine leather, stamped with the Mapache logo
- Outsole: recycled tire, thick and robust, eco-friendly approach
Choosing your size
Woven leather stretches slightly with wear. Our recommendations based on your foot type:
- Slim foot: take one size down. The sole will be a bit tight, but you will be held securely by the elastic ankle strap.
- Normal foot: take your usual size. You will be perfectly supported thanks to the elastic added to the ankle strap.
- Wide foot: take one size up. You will be comfortably held in place by the elastic ankle strap.

The recycled tire sole is particularly resistant. Avoid prolonged exposure to water and direct heat.
